Great idea, but execution of design needs improvement
I wanted these as a project for elementary school age kids, but these are smaller than expected. From the product display, it looks like you get five houses, but you get three, see product display, top row. To make each house, you'd have to run the die cut twice. Considering the size, I wish Sizzix had designed these with four walls in each house die.
These would be ideal if the fold lines were more prominent, had deeper grooves for easier fold. Also, the fold line where you'd put double sided tape is a bit thinner than the 1/8" inch tape, so liquid glue may be the best option, even though it won't dry as quickly and can get messy.
Overall, I would recommend it, because it has potential to be really cute, (you can customize the door and windows), just be aware of the sizes:
Starting from top row far left, widest house is 2" in height and length, and under 1" in width.
Middle house is 2" in height, 1 1/2" in length, and 1" in width.
Far right, tall house is 2 1/4" in height, 3/4" in length, and 1/2" in width.
