I don't particularly care for the imprint. It doesn't look much like a quilt that I was expecting. I haven't used it a lot, so will try some more papers today and see if better with different combinations.
When you use this folder, it will look just like it's quilted. Great look. Be sure to use Tim's suggestions. Spray both sides of paper first. Find the appropriate sandwich for you cutting machine and then run through at least 3 times. This worked for me

Not as deep of embossing as I would like, might have to play around with my sandwich more.
This embossing folder is fantastic, it looks like real stitched leather and once you add inks it looks like the real thing. Tim Holtz and Sizzix you've done it again!
I love all the 3D texture fades , but not this one. Tried every possible sandwich, and about 6 different papers, metallics etc. Just not enough embossing to make it look good at all, and certainly not 3D .
There is something wrong with the height of the stitch in the folder itself, and the negative side, so it doesn't bite in enough.
I am quite unhappy with it and hope to not have this problem again. with any of the other newer ones.
I was pleased to get this embossing folder...until I used it. It never worked right. The top half would emboss sort of OK, but the bottom half would not. I tried many shims, thicknesses of card stock, everything I could think of but it still does not leave a good all over impression. I have no problems with every other embossing folders I own.
Very disappointed. I love this folder when I saw the demo on you tube. However, the one I bought, did not emboss the way it is expected. Not 3D enough like my other Sizzix embossing folders ( using same machine and same paper )
I thought mine is defective, but I guess not, since lots of crafters have the same issue.
I love ALL the Embossing Folders from Sizzix. This one I was STOKED to get. However it doesnt give the "quilted" impression. Ive tried everything (different sandwiches) and nothing. Just a very light stitching. Major bummer.
