If you love to give book boxes as gifts, you will now be able to design your own! This Book Box ScoreBoards XL Die is designed by Eileen Hull for Sizzix. This ScoreBoards XL Die will help you create a book box with binding features. This die is compatible with leading die cutting machines (sold separately). It is recommended that you use Sizzix Mixed Media Board (sold separately) for optimum results. You can then fashion your book in any way you choose, including the binding. The finished design measures 5.25" x 6.5" x 1.25".

I love that this dies gives the pieces to make a box that looks like a book, such a cute idea. It is a thick die so your die-cut machine needs to be able to withstand the depth.

Does XL mean extra large? extra long? Is an "XL" die going to fit a standard Big Shot? I appreciate the statement: "This die is compatible with leading die cutting machines," but it is rather vague.
Hello. XL means extra long. These dies can be used with a Big Shot but require the use extended cutting pads.
