How to use your Universal Page Protectors:

  • To insert scrapbook pages into your Universal 12 x 12 Page Protectors, first slide a finger between the two layers of the protector’s pocket to separate them.
  • Holding the pocket just barely open, first slide one bottom corner of the page slightly into the pocket.
  • Next, rotate the page to insert its other bottom corner into the protector.
  • To display facing forward, the strip for the 3-ring binding should sit on the left side of the page.
  • To display facing backward (for the reverse side), the 3-ring binding strip should be on the right side of the page.

How to insert your Universal Page Protectors into your album:

  • First, open your album and lay it flat on your work surface.
  • Grasp each side of the center ring with your thumb and forefinger of one hand and gently pull apart the ring.
  • Align the page protector(s') holes with the rings and slide them onto one side of the open rings.
  • Once all the page protectors you wish to add or move are in place, grasp each side of the center ring again and push it closed. (Be careful to keep your fingers out from between the closing rings to avoid painful pinching!)

Here are just a few reviews about the Universal Page Protectors from our Scrapbook.com customers:

“This is a wonderful value! As an avid scrapbooker I use a lot of these page protectors and I have yet to find anything that beats this quality or price.” - spackham

“These are great quality, very sturdy, but the plastic is thin enough to not add bulk to the albums. The photos are clear inside them, too. All this, and at a terrific price that beats any other place I've found. Order with confidence!” – dmwalker70

“I can't praise these enough, they fit perfect in my 12x12 WRMK album and also my Becky Higgins albums. They fit perfectly, and when I have heavy embellished pages, the page protectors are a smidge wider horizontally and that seems to help, not such a "tight" fit. I love love love them!” – meutod2

    Sturdy

I am fairly new to scrapbooking and started by using the cheaper albums with the little posts. I have not been happy with those so I decided to try the 3 ring binder type albums. I searched online and these seemed like a good value and had good reviews. I was a little worried these might be a little flimsy, but I shouldn't have worried. These are very good quality and a very clear color. I am very happy with this purchase and will be buying more.

    Great Quality

I am really impressed with the quality of these page protectors. They look and feel identical to We R Memory Keepers brand of page protectors. The weight of the plastic is a nice weight, not at all flimsy. I have been using a fuse tool on them for a special project involving various sizes of photos and they are working very well with the tool. I will definitely be purchasing these page protectors again in the future.

    Not just for albums...

These page protectors are a nice weight and are great to protect pages with embellishments in albums. AND I also use them to store sets of papers. When I have a few single sheets of 12x12 paper that have matching embellishments, sticker sheets and/or smaller cutouts, I like to keep all them all together in one of these page protectors. Then I can slide it right onto the shelf along with the 12x12 pad of paper. No more wondering if I have anything that 'goes with' that selection of paper.

This is just what I was looking for

These are really clear but do not have the annoying glare that some other protectors have. I needed extra refills for 2 different albums. I bought one pack, used half for one album and half for the other. They fit in both perfectly in both albums, so I'm a happy camper.

    Finally!

At last someone created page protectors for my 3-ring scrapbooks. Now I don't need to punch each protector so it fits. I'll never use the others protectors again. Thanks for stocking these great new products.

    Great Product

I purchased the Universal page protectors because I have many albums and they will work with any brand. I heard about this watching a Youtube video from CHA 2015. The price was very good for the 50 pack. The quality is good also.

    Top quality page protectors

I have ordered both the 4 x 6 and the full sheet 12 x 12 page protectors for my photo albums and am very satisfied with both. These are great quality, very sturdy, but the plastic is thin enough to not add bulk to the albums. The photos are clear inside them, too. All this, and at a terrific price that beats any other place I've found. Order with confidence!

  • Do these page protectors have a flap on them so things other than pictures donít fall out?   By: Jeri m (23-Aug-18) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This question has been reported. Thank you!

    • They do not have flaps over the openings but you could easily create a flap by inserting a piece of card stock cut a little longer than the pocket and folding it over. Secure the flap down with a decorative washi tape. Adds a decorative feature to your page protector! By: Kit Bauer (26-Aug-18) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you! • These don't have a spacer like post-bound protectors, so I think these will just work for all of your 3-ring or D-Ring binder albums. By: MonthOfMay (17-Nov-14) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This Answer has been reported. Thank you!

How far apart are the holes? Iím trying to find sleeves I can cut down horizontally for an unusually sized album.   By: User (20-Apr-20) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This question has been reported. Thank you!
    • The holes are 4 inches apart. I have punched holes in 12 X 12 inch page protectors that only have 2 holes. It worked well. I have also made my own spacers for albums out of cardboard, seemed to work well. By: Bootsie (21-Apr-20) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This Answer has been reported. • I use Post Paper Studio albums sold at Hobby Lobby. I Canít get the divided page protectors that hold 6 photos horizontally. I believe these will fit the hole width But Iím afraid they will be narrower than the regular page protectors THAT I BUY FROM HL. Does anyone know the actual width measurement of these protectors including the width of the binding. I donít want it to be more narrow. I want the pages to look uniform. I am doing a wedding album for my grandson and want it to be perfect. You can email me at [email protected] Thanks so much! • I buy both the horizontal and vertical page protectors from HL and Scrapbook. They are identical as 12‚ÄĚ x 12‚ÄĚ sheets with 3/4‚ÄĚ binding width. The only difference I noticed is how you load the photos into the horizontal protectors: some you load from the top and the other version you load from the side. • I'm looking for a visual solution to store unmounted wood stamps? Would something like this work? Are they durable enough for the thickness of stamps?   By: carrieterrell (02-Apr-20) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This question has been reported. Thank you!

    • I don't think they would work. They are durable but I would think the stamps would slide out of the pockets. Have your looked at Totally Tiffany products? They have storage items.
