These have to be the BEST blending brushes in the game. The ink sits nicely on the bristles, unlike other brushes, that just absorb all of your ink. The brushes blend like a dream, with little effort. And the handle’s shape, fits perfectly in my hand. I am extremely happy with my blending brushes. I would highly recommend Waffle Flower Blending Brushes to everyone.
I finally found my blending brushes! I have tried a few from several brands, resisted these because I had to buy the entire set, but plunged in with a good coupon. I love them. Other brushed seemed to absorb my inks and it took so long to get any color on the paper. These blend color evenly and smoothly. The handles are comfortable, ( I have long fingers and some are so small. And I love having so many!

The stand doesn't hold the brushes upright as easily as I had hoped.
The brushes bump into each other: then have a tendency to fall out of the bottom holes of the stand and that makes the stand unbalanced.
Maybe using fewer brushes in the stand might fix this. I will have to try it.
Waffle Flower blending brushes are well worth the price. They are sturdy, fit my hand comfortably, the bristles hold up well and the colors make it easy to grab the brush I need. This is my second set, as I wanted to have a set for Distress Oxcides.
I am happy with the results using these brushes with the Distress Oxide inks. I have used them on card stock and on watercolor paper.
I love these. I was in shock of the price, but I wanted them and I'm so glad I got them. Worth the money.
The perfect solution for keeping inks and brushes separated by color. I would love these in a small size too !!

Honestly, these are absolutely lovely. Yes, they are essentially colourful make-up blending brushes but whilst there is a price difference, considering some of the other sets out there, these are actually one of the better value sets. They are absolutely beautiful and inspiring to pick up, they are incredibly soft and allow you to lightly build up colour, they sit nicely in the box they come in so you've no need to buy extra storage unless you wish to and the heads are actually more flexible than you'd imagine (although, I'm still cautious not to test that too far....) These are what I'd consider "medium" so a great base set which I'll be adding to. They also seem to wash fairly well so far. My only upgrade would be to have a black and white brush too!!
These ink blending brushes are very soft, work nicely for larger areas, I was not expecting them to be so big, so I’m a little disappointed with that, but they are really nice brushes.

How to clean the ink out of these brushes? Just wiping it on a paper towel or lint free cloth�does not seem to work! What is classified as mild soap?

I use dishwashing liquid to clean my Waffle Flower brushes. I run a sink of soapy water and use my brush scrubber to clean the brushes. Then, I rinse them with clean water. If you are using Distress Inks, there should be no problem washing the ink out of your brushes. I have found that the dye ink will stain your brushes and it is impossible to get all the ink out. Also, after you wash, lay the brushes so that the bristles are face down. The water left in the brush will help the remaining ink run down onto the drying towel, instead of settling at the bottom around your bristles.

I found that using baby wipes are soft and gentle and don't harm the bristles.
