Need guidance for music memorabilia scrapbook

  • Stevent
Hi, newbie here, appreciate your help!

I'm a music fan looking to scrapbook memorabilia (tickets, backstage passes, photos, picks, autographs, etc.) without damaging or permanently affixing them, so things like guitar picks and passes, even tickets can occasionally be taken out and and held. I'm not planning on the pages becoming super extravagant, just something basic for these items.

I already purchased a 12x12 3 binder album with top loading sheet protectors and acid free paper, am I heading in the right direction? What would you recommend I use to hold these items in place? Or should I just use photo pages? Concert tickets are light, backstage passes are usually laminated rectangular shape and heavier, picks are picks, and I'll have photos and autographs too.

Again I'd like to be able to preserve and secure these items without permanently affixing them and being able to take them out from time to time, and I definitely don't want to permanently glue things like tickets and autographs directly to paper.

    Thanks so much in advance!

Maybe pocket pages would work. You can add photos and memorabilia. You can get or make pockets to add to pages, too. You can look at other pages completed on this site, by going to gallery & searching for music pages, etc.

You are headed in the right direction if you already bought a binder and paper. Are you planning on adding titles and photos of the venues to your paper? If so, you could get page pockets that are clear that will affix to your paper, then you can add whatever you'd like into the clear pocket. These have a strip of adhesive to adhere them to your page: https://www.scrapbook.com/store/mw-4067.html?w=pocket+protectors Even though you've already bought page protectors with your album, they are probably a single 12x12 page. You might want to consider swapping them out for the pocket pages mentioned above. You can cut your papers down to the pocket sizes and slip your memorabilia into the clear page pockets. They come in all sorts of configurations. Here's a an example that might work for you: https://www.scrapbook.com/store/ecp-pfps1004.html?w=pocket+protectors Just search "page protectors" and a whole bunch of different ones will come up. As a final note, you can get repositionable tape to use to secure your items down with. Using this will keep everything safely secured so nothing slips out of the pockets. It will let you remove and replace the item and if you decide you want to remove the tape altogether, usually is just rolls off when you rub on it. Here's your repositionable tape: https://www.scrapbook.com/store/uc-dr724324.html I hope this helps. Good luck with your project!
