    Intro:
If you love working with mixed media, you're in the right place! Not sure what mixed media is? Well for the purpose of this challenge, its the use of wet art mediums to add texture, dimension and interest to your projects. It's one of those no rules categories so you can have lots of fun making a beautiful mess or create your finest masterpiece! So, grab your favorite mediums and lets have some fun! ~ Dawna

    Sample:
Here's a sample of a layout that I created using texture paste, spray bloom ink, matte gel and gold wax.

Hey @Tena E. can't wait to see what you come up with this month! Believe it or not, I still need to finish my Aubrey LO. All the MM work is done, I just need to finish stitching around the bottom edge, then I can just assemble it. I've already done all the fussy cutting, but it's pretty cloudy today, so I won't be able to take and share pics until the sun shines again. So I'll probably work on that next week. I need to finish gathering tax papers and cleaning up my checkbook register so I actually know how much money we have left in the bank. Needless to say, I'd rather be crafting today! lol

@eapipkin such beautiful card submissions! I'll have to go in for a closer look when I'm done here.

    Hello ladies,
a little bit of mixed media on this one......
  • PJD (Petra)

A card this time. I used distress oxide inks and a gel plate to create the BG. The stamped image was coloured with Prisma pencils. This is the result of following a tutorial on YT (details in my write-up).

Just a bit of stenciling using transparent crackle paste. I lightly rubbed some gold wax into it.

    Last LO for this month.

I used stencils on both of these. I inked the top one in Tim Holtz Iced Spruce and the bottom with Simon Hurley's Lunar Paste, plus inking around the images.
