I wanted to do a layout with just solid colored cardstock and choose a color scheme. This is a triad color scheme (green, orange and violet), the yellow was needed as extra color for the titling.

In August 2003, Llenas and I took the kids to Wild Waves in Federal Way. All the kids had a great time. This picture was taken at one of the booths called “Bird Man Bob’s.” The birds were real and I really wanted the kids to be the ones to hold them. But Bird Man Bob insisted it had to be me. When it came time for me to hold the bird, I was shouting in my head, “I don’t want it! I don’t want it!” Somehow, I managed to smile for the picture.
At this time, Llenas and I had been dating for less than 2 months and it was a great time for all of us to get to know each other. Llenas went on the big rides with Kirk and Alex and they loved it. If we look really happy, it’s because we were! We all had a great time.
