again love the date stamp !! And again your DD is so much like my youngest you are just so much better at expressing yourself - wonderful LO into my favs!
lol, Trevor does the same thing, but he makes this huge sniffing noise when he does it. I have to document that one of these days. Love the journaling, especially that last line. And I personally love the placement with the title breaking it up.
LOL....great job once again. Katie also screws up her face in the sun...soon followed by "I need my (sun)glasses". They are too cute! The pp is perfect and your swirl located in journaling - inspiring!
I like the placement of everything on here. My DGS has some of those same quirks...NO splashes to the face, NO shoes, NO meat!lol. What an adorable little scrunchy face!
LOL, she and my son would get along great because they are *total* opposites (well, other than the shoes...they'd both be shoeless and she'd be trying to wipe the sand from his hands while he screamed about it). I like the journal placement. There are balance laws in design? Never!
hehe! this my favorite kind of LO, with the whole picture to the side! fantastic crop, girl. and I really adore the title! the journaling doesn't bother my eye one bit, and really, i am usually a big advocate for balance and symmetry! LOL! gorgeous work, A! This one goes into my faves!
oh my goodness, this is so cute! the perfect expression for the journaling. i'll have to keep this topic for a future page. it is too cute! you constantly come up with the best ideas of scrapping things that most would overlook, but that we definitely want to remember. great job!
lol....love that journaling and yes, that is the cutest little scrunched up face!!! I love that swirl and have to go look for it and your journaling location is perfection....really, you know what you are doing!!! ;)
i would absolutely melt too if i saw that face....geez! journaling is great and i will be curious to see what she keeps and lets go as well. the pp is so beautiful and those swirls are nice too. don't you just love oscraps?
oh I love that face!! Piper makes a scrunchy face more about funny things but i can't seem to catch it! its always blurry its my mission to catch and I am SO jealous of this shot!! :) fantastic job and I like the journaling!!
I can only totally agree with what Shhbabymine says.. your journaling is always so amazing and inspiring.. and that face.. my gosh.. she is the cutest little girl!
before i even read this i am loving that face! ok - and now i have finished reading and sigh - - this is FAB (dont i always say that!!!LOL)....... i just have to admit that no matter how many times i look at or read one of your layouts -each and every one leave me beyond words - your gift for writing is purely inspiring and I can only imagine what these pages will mean to your children and grandchildren some day! even the scrunchy face and all...
that face really makes me smile all the time! gosh A! you always amazes with your journaling. i lover reading them all. great composition of your title and your texts =)
LOVVVEEE this little scrunchy face that alyssa does when the sun's in her face or someone splashes her. it is sooo cute. she actually makes this face for no reason at all sometimes, but i just can't get enough of it. anyway... not TOTALLY happy with the placement of the journaling, but having it in the middle there just seemed so boring. sooo, even though this probably breaks some big graphic design "balance law"... it's better than the alternative. ;) ha!
JOURNALING: Yes, there are some things you just do not like. You don't like wearing shoes. You don't like the sun in your eyes. You hate being splashed in the face with water. You don't like the deep end of the swimming pool. You don't like having sand on your hands after playing in the sandbox. You don't like the sound of Daddy's firm voice when you're doing something you aren't supposed to be doing. You refuse to eat any meat of any kind. You aren't big on being rocked to sleep and will not sleep anywhere other than your bed. It is so interesting to me to watch your opinions forming. I'm so curious to see how these things will evolve in days to come. How many of these things will begin to not bother you? How many new ones will surface? How many will stick and stay with you on into adulthood. How many will get you into trouble and how many will save you from huge mistakes? I can hardly stand the suspense. But I'll tell you one thing. If your little aversions continue to be accompanied with this little expression... I can handle them all.
