Poor Buster! I have four pugs - one of them is in a wheelchair. You would NEVER have to justify the expense of the surgeries to me!

My poor little Buster. I was told ‘after’ we got Buster that pugs have alot of health problems. Well, he does. He had surgery on his left leg the summer of 2005. Then he had to have surgery on his right leg, for pretty much the same reason. When people find out how much the surgery cost they always say the same thing: that’s alot of money to spend on a dog. Well all I say to them is: would you spend that kind of money on your kid?!?! I know he isn’t a human child but he is my kid.
I was worried because he had a different vet this time around. It took him longer than last time to get back to his normal self. He had a limp for a few months. But at least now he is as good if not better than new.
I know he will alway have health problems, but I also know I will do whatever it takes to fix them. Right now we are working on ear infections, tomorrow who knows. I love him, and will always make sure he is happy and healthy.
