I love this wonder slice of your life LO! We used to play hide-n-seek in my grandma's coal bin. We would say we weren't playing there, but grandma always knew. Perhaps it was the coal dust all over our clothes and faces-LOL!
Love the journaling and how you used one color and one black and white picture of the same activity. Great layout. Love the title and the circles, too - so bright!
Wonderful page. So evocative of childhood with you on the swing. I love that you liked to play with worms! Me too. Love all those circles that divide the journaling block. Great journaling!
I really love how you broke up the layout with the two sides and the circle embellishment across the middle. I really like the one colored photo and the one black and white one, as well as all the journaling.
wonderful job with all the journaling; great design with the two sides of the pp--and what a good idea for a lo--must remember that! Oh, and you were a cutie!
oh how cool is this. not only is it pretty to look at your journaling is awesome. I could totally see you getting caught on the laundry line and falling to the ground. what awesome memories to have and to put on paper so you will always have them. Yes, I'm very proud of you
Great, great job on the Febuly Challenge, Kimmi! This is wonderful -- I'm still stumped on this one. Love the design of this page -- the circles are fun!
This is a lo for my BOM and has things I remember about playing in our back garden as a little girl. I rememebr playing on my swing with worms :) tending to my garden and playing on the coal bunker. Click on the lo to be able to read the journalling)
I used the We R Memory Keepers White Out pp but I cut it in half and turned one half over and stuck it together. I liked the lined section as it was perfect for the journalling but I also love the colours of the 2 blocks on the other side. I also coloured most of the MM alphas with Sharpie Permanant Markers so that they were a lot brighter in colour
This is for the Febuly week 12 challenge to use I Remember as the title of the lo, use one black and white pic and have half the lo as journalling. It is based on a Pagemap from January 2008 and is also for the Use Your OWn Handwriting challenge. TFL!
