well done...I have some pics of my mom's car after a recent accident but haven't had the heart to scrap them...maybe one day...she and her new car are fine :)
Hey great job, and glad no one was hurt in the accident. Don't the ones who are in the wrong always say they were right. LOL Most will never admit they were in the wrong.
It happened on Saturday, April 19, 2008 around 7:30 in the morning. I was on my way to take Megan to a tennis tournament when less than a mile from home a man broke the stop sign and crashed straight into the side of my car, pushing us straight unto the sidewalk on the opposite side of the street! I am thankful for several things – 1) that no-one was hurt 2) that it was a Saturday morning and no children were walking on the road (it happened at the corner where there is a school) and 3) that I managed to realize what was happening, turned the steering wheel and stepped on the brake to avoid hitting a wall. Needless to say Megan ended up missing the tournament that day. The usual happened afterwards…the Police came, took statements & we both had to go to the station. Luckily for me, my car could still be driven. The man who hit me was not so fortunate. The funny thing was that he kept insisting that he wasn’t wrong. The police soon set him straight. You break a stop sign, YOURE AT FAULT! Go figure. In June the insurance company settled and I was able to get my car repaired. Finally!
