OMG...this is stunning!!! I love the brilliant contrast of the colors! and so loving that butterfly!! I bought a pretty purple rhinstone butterfly pin with the intentions of using it on a scrap page....this has inspired me...thanks!!
So I spent about 10 minutes studying this layout yesterday and I thought I commented on it, but alas no - so I am back to tell you how wonderful this page is!!!! Fantastic colors to compliment that gorgeous photo which speaks a million words (sorry about your lawn - but the weed killer is worth this photo alone). That butterfly is brilliant and what a great idea to chalk it. So adding this to my favorites!
The angle of the lo. pic. makes that top scallop look rounded, however in R.L. it's strait! A photo just doesn't do this one justice! I added small touches of silver glitter glue to a few flowers on paper and on the butterfly. I also added blue chalk ink to the butterfly as well as all the paper edges. I sanded a black tag to journal on. I was so anxious to use this butterfly I bought about 2 months ago! In R.L. it sure looks neat! The cute fello in pic. is my 3 y.o. son. Journaling just talks about how he spent all spring blowing dandilion seeds everywhere. UGH! It was so cute, how could I stop him? I bet we have lots of dandilions next spring!! Pic. April 07/l.o. done May 07. Thanks for looking!
