I remember making sheet tents! I really like the way the title letters follow the contour of the paper instead of just being straight across. (Love the fact that they're different sizes, too.)
I love how you cut the orange cs- it does look like a draped sheet! The journaling around the pp is great, not your everyday journaling on a tag. It's a great touch and very eye appealing. Those colorful chipboard embellies are very cute too. They add nice detail and really draw you into all the photos. Cute title, I love how it alternates, the whole LO gives me a very fun and young feeling. It brings me back to my childhood =)
I remember the fun of building a "clubhouse or a fort" and now my son loves to do it as well! It's such a kid thing!!! Great pics and a fun LO to remember a fun time!!
I like how your journaling goes around the edge of the red paper. There is nothing more fun for kids than a homemade fort. My boys love it when I build one for them! Great idea for a page!
This SO brings back memories. My kids loved to build tents and forts. And they always had great fun. I love your series of photos and the way you used red and green to highlight the colors in the photos! TFS
This is too cute. Isn't it amazing how kids can get lost in the simple things? The colors of the paper go great with the pictures to. I love the bright green with the scalloped edge.
Wow, you got great pictures... I always have light problems when trying to take pix in my kids hide outs. I love the way you did the journaling along the edge of the bracket mat!
Oh how neat! And I can remember when we did that at OUR grandma's and then when MY kids did at their's and now the grandkids do it here --- a forever game! Wonderful memory!
I love all of the different shapes you used on this LO! The colors work really well together too! We love hiding out under a sheet or blanket in my house too! It's a lot of fun - your grandkids are lucky to have such a fun grandma!!! Cute photos
What a cool hide out! Your grandkids must love coming to your house! I would!:) Love the colors, love the way you did the journaling, love the arrows! Great lo!
I totally understand why the kids love their hide out! I used to make my parents and my older brothers make little hide outs for me all the time when I was little! What a great caption of their hide out playing. I love the title and that the letters are not all matching. I really like the different shapes on the LO. The scalloped paper, the shape of the orange paper, the arrows, the heart the photocorner and the flowers! All of those shapes and forms just comes together really well!
very fun page! I remember doing this as a kid! I really like the green pp and the journaling on the edge of the red pp! Also the little embellies add a cute little touch!
Oh, these pictures are adorable!! Kids love to play 'tent' in the house,, LOL,, love how you journaled around the edge of the red paper and such an adorble lo!
Journaling around the edge says: "I know it's not the best hide out, but whenever we take a sheet and drape it over a door or table - it instantly becomes a far away place...a tent in the woods, a princess castle, or just a cool place to hide out and play."
I know it doesn't look like much, but it actually went the whole length of the bed, and the whole front closed down. I had to open it and flop it back to tkae the pictures. But the important thing is that the kids had FUN playing!!
