Earning her JD MBA in the same day was monumental, amazing and so fun to witness as her proud mom. She Did It against many odds!
I did a fun technique with the background to give the page more "dignity." I misted half of a brocade shape onto one side of light gray cardstock. Then using the template as my guide, I traced the outline of the shape onto the black swirl-design paper, and cut it out. I overlay that paper onto the grey to make a full 12 x 12 sheet of paper. Using a back pen I outlined the misted areas so they'd stand out and then built the page from this layer up. Thanks for looking!
