I used adhesive backed fabric paper to cover the canvas; added an applique and some pearls; adhered trim around the the canvas and created a loop to hang; painted the word 'inspire' gold and didn't like it; then painted it burgundy, red, brown and then black....I finally liked it ;o). At the bottom I added a gorgeous cameo I won at an online auction.
