Too bad about his poor finger and all he had to go through...but WOW, fantastic lo. Sometimes it's the everyday events (good and bad) that make for the best pages...sorry this one was pretty painful!
That great big 'OUCH' says it all! Isabella recently squashed her thumb in the car door - amazing that we choose to scrap these events!! Love your pps and journalling too.
Ouch is right. Something similar happened to my oldest when he was about one, he managed to get his finger stuck in a tomato can and slice his little finger open, by the time I got home form work it was to late to get him stitched. It had to heal on it own. Pretty scarry, I would say. But I hope all is well. God Bless.
Anna, my dear friend, only a scrapper would think to grab a picture on the way to the emergency room!!! LOL! A woman after my own heart! It sure made a fabulous page too, and BTW....OUCH!
OUCH is right!!! Thats a great page.. He probably better off just having it glued cause you know and I know that the stitching part is easy.. but the injection to freeze it, is the killer. Hope the glue did the trick.. Good job on this Layout.
awww! poor Jeremy ! i wish him it heals quickly ! love this page, colors are awesome - unfortunately his thumb matches perfectly with the b/w and red......love how you outlined the titul, great stitching !
Ohh..That looks like it hurt so much!! "Poor guy". Its hard for Moms to hold up when stuff like that happens...I know I get alittle Beside myself. Lol... This is a really great lo Anna..your work is so great!! Hope Jeremy is healing up well!
This is a great layout! I cut myself and required stitches for the first time in June. It took 5 1/2 hours at the emergency "fast track" to get the stitches done. This layout is a great way to turn a tragic situation into an interesting memory. (Maybe I should scraplift it, with your permission, of course.)
That looks painful! poor guy! my baby sister did the same thing cutting an orange when we were little! my mom still doesn't know how she got to a knife! great layout and design!
Ouch, it hurts me just to look at it! Poor little guy; how brave he was!! Love this really cool LO! Love the perfect pp's and stitches! You rock, girl!!!!
This is my Dear son Jeremy recently 7-21-09 Journaling reads...
Jeremy was trying to carve wood and make a back scratcher. and slipped off his knife and cut his right thumb. I stopped his bleeding and bandaged it up. Later when I went to re bandage it Dad got to look at it and then I realized it was way to opened it started to re bleed. so here we are at the Emergency room at midnight. It was too late to stitch. They like to do that with in 6 hours. So they glued his finger together. He was scared at first. He did good. They sent him home with Antibiotics. July 21,2009
