This is for Debby's Dare, week 6, "Who are the story keepers in your family?" My sons, now video game programmers, are definitely my story tellers. The title is done using keyboard keys, since the computer is such a large part of their tale. The drawings were done by Aaron and scanned onto a transparency, and the photos are of them and their book. The journaling (and title) reads: "Once upon a time lived two creative young boys with an urge to tell stories. From the time they could speak they created new realities, of dragons and magical places. Later they found that the lowly pencil could do more than write the stories - it could illustrate them too. They dreamed of becoming Disney animators, of bringing the fantastic to life. And so began a partnership that only twins could experience and this dream led to storyboards full of fanciful characters. Then they discovered the computer and a new way of sharing their stories: 'Geeks", a web comic that shared the (only half) imaginary lives of Adam and Aaron. And because their biggest fan was (naturally) their mom, they gathered together their favorite comics to create a book for her, which made her cry. and they lived happily ever after. The end...(or rather, the beginning...)
