I'm looking at Abby -- I think little pebbles may have had yorkie in her. We know she was a mix. She looked just like this after her bath.
such a cute lo -- love the big border punch and the colors.
Nothing as pitiful as a wet dog. Love the yellows. The shower curtain effect is perfectly executed here - down to the strip of vellum/transparency? along the left edge.
what a great page- love the yellow & the cute bath elements & the cord and ... I like it all :) I could never take bath pics of my dogs - well they don't get them often and hate it- I'm trying to keep them from bolting LOL
wow, I luv EVERYTHING about this-from the photos to the bubbles & paw prints, to the title & the journaling strips-you did a FABulous job on this one Lisa!! : ]
oh yorkie pages get me EVERY TIME!....love love love......and more love....and your welcome--what a compliment!...and your page is gorgeous!...like the bubbles and footprints--the lacing on the top is very cool....!
LOVE the punching, the doggie, the June Bug and that "shampooch" embellie. The cording/grommets make the yellow PP look like a shower curtain -- was that intentional? It's brilliant!!
Fun page! I love the yellow! And I wish my dogs were as easy to bathe as Abby! Well I've never met a dog that likes baths, getting a little dog to stay still is a lot easier than getting a 250lb+ one to stay still!
ah I wondered what was behind the daisy edge! Very cool idea! And I love the cording. Really now Lisa, we are not allowed dogs where we live so stop posting such stinkin' cute doggie layouts lol (don't really I love them)
I will have better (read: funnier) bath pictures of Abby farther along in my albums, and I wasn't even going to scrap these, but I needed the LO to make my album pages come out right. Now, I'm glad I did because this is the first dog page I've been happy with this month. Journaling just says: Abby got a bath to get ready to go Up North with me for Spring Break. March 24, 2008
This is for the September Pet Challenge with the twist to use ribbon, fiber, twine, and/or thread. I used the braided cording/rope through the eyelets at the top. It was originally the handle of a gift bag I threw away.
I used the September Monthly Sketch Challenge 30-day Sketch-a-thon Day 6 sketch. I got the idea to use the daisy fan punch for the scalloped edge in the sketch from Marcilb - thanks Marci ;)
I did the doodled stitching along the curve and outlined the navy pp with my white Galaxy marker. I also did a little doodled stitching on the journaling strips. I put vellum behind the punched edge to mute the bg a little bit so the white stands out more. The title is a terry cloth and vinyl embellie from Jolee's Boutique.
