Back in the day...I had to do these pictures. They are too dear to me now to forget. This man was my introduction to the '60's. Other than his dress, sense of humor, sweetness... the thing I most admired about him was that he had been a Freedom Rider in the South. A man of rare courage.
I couldn't find an appropriate paper so I took a black and white page, used watercolors and colored markers, and had a great time. Had to do a little repair work. I made the mistake of putting some stickers on this, BAD!! and in the process of removing them I tore the paper a little. A little more doodling fixed it right up.
