OMG, Sandy is is absolutely STUNNING!!!! The colors are really gorgeous...nice work for someone who is 'Not a card maker'...Actually, I think you are a 'Great card maker'!!!
WOw!!! Sandy that sounds like a lot of work, and very interesting techniques....I've never heard of stamp board (I always hear about all the new cool stuff from you!!)...your card came out beautiful! I don't think there is a thing you try that doesn't come out perfect!! love this!
OMG, Sandy!!! Amazing, girl! Had to make it larger just to see what the heck you were talking about with the scratch tool, and so glad I did!! You never cease to amaze me girlie!!
Dont worry about the explanation coz even I am like that...look into my gallery & you'll know what I mean. Btw...its a wonderful card & what is a stampboard coz I don't know what it is even though I like stamping.
I'm not really a card maker ---okay, I'm NOT a card maker..LOL =) I'm pretty happy with this though. This was also my first time using stamp board. Wow, that stuff is so neat and there's so many possibilities! What I did here is the basics of basics. I first inked the whole piece with lilac ink from ColorBox. Let dry. Then I stamped the flower in black ink. Let dry. Then I took a piece of oil free steel wool and sanded the purple off of the rest of the piece--leaving only in the center. Then I stamped some flourishes--let dry. After all that---I went in and shaded or carved some details with a scratch tool---leaving the detailed white on the flower and on the flourishes. Sheesh...I shouldn't even try explaining! LOL Sorry! Thanks for looking! Sandy
