This is my DD, Kimberly at about age 15. All Daisyd paper (Saltwater Taffy Collection). The big shaped mat is hand cut, the scalloped edge I did with my new 12 inch QK die (LOVE IT!!!) I added some Prima flowers and bling swirls. (The photo looks crooked...but it's really NOT IRL!!! Wonky scan!!) Journaling is tucked behind the photo and reads:
Kimberly, you are such a beautiful girl. I never dreamed I would have a child with red hair. Your hair is a combination of colors…..copper, red, and strawberry blonde. Your eyes are a beautiful blue and you have always had a very fair complexion. All of these things are what makes you….YOU! I love your sense of humor, your giving nature, and your loving spirit. The joke between us when you were growing up was…Kimmer, you are my “special” child! And you always responded with….. “Am I your “special” child or your “special” child?” …and even today the answer is ….YOU are my “special” child! Your beauty, your sense of humor, your smile, your fun-loving nature…..all combined….makes you “One of a Kind”! I love you!
