Thanks all for your nice comments! I'm finding out I have a lot of scrap supplies i forget i have because I am still not completely organized. I'm a kind of out of sight out of mind type so If I don't see things out I forget they're there(even if i labeled things, lol). I have a small scrapspace but i feel lucky to have it because at least i have my own little space. It's actually the closet in our home office. My husband converted it into a workspace for me. My fav thing about it is that i can close the doors when i'm done and leave the mess out of sight. I've been trying to organize it little by little so i can post pics of it but I think i'll just post it as is so i can get some organizational ideas. For me things have to look asthetically pleasing so i can get inspired and feel uncluttered. Someday i hope to have an entire room for my scrap, crafts and sewing supplies. Or maybe even my own cottage like Cherrie! ;-) That would be awsome!
This is the invitation I made for my niece's 13th birthday party coming up. It's a "Pimp My Jeans" birthday party where 3 of her friends get to bring an old pair of jeans and decorate them in all kinds of fun ways. It was my sister's idea and I immediately knew I had to make the invitations for her with a jeans pocket ;-b. I broke out my sewing machine (which i haven't used in quite some time) so I could add the thread detail, inked the paper so it can look more like denim, cut out the tag and flowers with my cricut, stamped the "it's a party" and vuala! Hope she likes them! They were really fun to make and the best part is I didn't even have to buy anything. I was able to use what I have.
