hehe, I WAS NOT A GIRLIE GIRL......;)but; I HOPE she is... I LOVE THIS, and you pulled off the scraplift wonderfully. Love the picture, the title and the colors, but of course the pix of your grandbaby is the best part. (WHAT A CUTE CUTE expression she has on her face!!!)
Your daughter and grandaughter are absolutely beautiful!! They remind me of my daughter and granddaughter. When my granddaughter was born, my daughter said 'no froofroo dresses for her'. Hahahaa ... guess what? Sarah LOVES dress up, froofroo and all!!! Anyway, adorable layout! Wonderful picture! (you need a 3 generation one now!! Hint, hint)
This is a lift from Becky (SamsMom) which was published in Scrapbook Trends Magazine - August 2005. Thanks so much, Becky, for being so gracious about this!
This is a photo of my dd (Amy) and her precious new baby, Desire'. The significance of the title is based in my frustrations - I am a "Girly Girl" and my daughter was a Tomboy!
Journaling reads:
Oh, Desi – To me… This picture is Priceless! I realize you’re still a little peanut, but seeing you in a pretty little pink dress with a bow in your hair and hugging this doll, raises my hopes that maybe you will be my “Girly Girl” ! Not like your mama! She ignored her dolls, refused to wear a dress, and sported jeans, a flannel shirt and a baseball hat! Oh yes, my little one, to me… This picture is Priceless!
Thanks so much for looking! I don't know why this scanned so crooked - UGH!
