This is one AMAZING page!!! Wonderful framing of this fantastic pic...the white cord laced through the eyelets looks AWESOME! LOVE how you altered the "SEA" with the sand medium!! The journalling on the left with the net beneath is a PERFECT expression of your son's experience!! This ocean page is swimming straight to my FAVES!!
The first time my son saw the ocean, he was determined to take in everything that he could. He took a few moments just to appreciate the awesome hugeness of the sea. I believe he took away a memory that he will treasure for a long time! Journaling reads, "Does the song of the sea end at the shore or in the hearts of those who listen to it"
I looked for a long time for twine that looked "nautical" enough, but couldn't find it, so I braided kitchen twine to get the desired effect! I also covered some chipboard in Mudpudles sand for the word "SEA" TFL!!
