I gave my daughter a start of the "buba plant" for her birthday. My Mom was called "Buba" by her grandkids and we always called this plant the "buba plant." Lindsey was afraid she would let it die, but it is very hardy as the one I have in my tub now is taking over the corner. The plant is really a miniature wandering jew. Mom died in 2002 and we feel like a part of her is with us because of this plant. This is a sketch from the October weekly sketch challenge.
