I missed this posting! What a wonderful page, Laurie! I definitely have to lift this idea cuz of the kids growing like weeds in my family! That giraffe is the BEST! Such a cute way to measure their height....you are soo clever, my friend! Love how the polka dot pp ties in all the colours in the photo. And your title is AWESOME! Looks like you have a gene pool to be proud of! Way to go, Emily!
very fun lo. and your journaling is a great glimpse into your family (as well as your sense of humor). a wonderful lo for future generations to enjoy.
Good luck to Emily at the National Science Fair.
A LO from my quick trip to PEI to see my nephew confirmed and have a little family visit. Journalling says " My older brother always swore he would marry someone who would add some height to our gene pool. Careful what you wish for, Eric! at 13, Emily is a bare inch or two shorter than him and Michael, the 14 yr old, is already taller! Obviously they take after their mother.... Height is not these kids only genetic gift, their intellect comes from both parental units..these kids are SMART! Emily is representing PEI at the National Science Fair championship in Ontario this year! Such a proud auntie I am!
