The library card catalog cabinet I purchased in February 2012 from a local seller on eBay. It measures 55" high, 33" wide, and 17" deep. It was manufactured by the Gaylord company (which is still in business making office and library furniture, and yes, still making card catalog cabinets). According to the seller, this originally belonged to the public library in Walton, Indiana.
All the drawers still have the rod that the cards would slide on to. I would like to buy some old actual catalog cards for one of the drawers. For some drawers I may remove the rod (replacing it with a similar knob and securing it inside with a washer and nut) so items can lay flat; in other drawers it'll be just right for keeping things in two neat rows. Things to fill the drawers with include ink pads, wood-mounted rubber stamps, huge McGill punches, extra supplies (replacement cutter blades, ATG tape, etc.) - maybe even my Cricut cartridges!
An add-on piece with two pull-out shelves came with it. Two shelves slide out like drawers, and it's meant to go between the two units of drawers. It is an aftermarket piece built later on, and is of a redder wood than the yellow-blond main unit.
