This is my grandfather, top right picture is him with my great-grandmother, the smaller pictures in the middle are my grandmother, and the bottom picture is just before my grandfather went to War. They say he kissed my grandmother and walked away and never looked back. He said it was the harded thing he ever did in his life. The story, however, tells of his bout with poison ivy, that kept him state-side while is company served at the Battle of the Bulge. Part of the reason my daughter sums up our family history with we're always were we should be, and never were we should.
