Give a Cheer
This layout is for the "Ugly Paper" challenge. I made a card like this a while ago and my ugly papers inspired me to make a layout in a similar style.
Each of the 4 squares represents a season in 2008 and one of my favorite pics of my daughter outside experiencing that season.
Winter she is outside finally playing in the snow with her new coat after a long wait for snow.
Spring we are at a Tulip Festival.
Summer we are at a park and she is enjoying the sun on her face.
Fall is her playing in a pile of leaves she made all by herself.
The border is made by using my flower punch. I love this because it doesn't look floral, and it was SO simple and so fast. I love this so much I used it on another layout as well.
My ugly embellishment was a tag that I flipped over and created my own title from scratch.
I used 4 different punches on this layout. Snowflake, two different flowers and my 1/2 inch circle punch.
