Last December I made two calendars for two very wonderful scrappers whom I met thru scrapjazz and this site. These gals are true angels to me and am deeply touched by their acts of kindness and friendship. Wish I could visit with them, but because there is such a distance, I decided to bring a little bit of the Midwest to them. This is the calendar I made for Lauri D.
May's images come from my husband's hunting property in Northern WI. We traveled up there one spring weekend just to check on the place and had to take a nice walk thru the wooded area. The flowers were definitely in bloom that day...these were just two of many photos I was able to take that day. The top picture is of a wild strawberry plant and the bottom is of a trillium. I want to thank Lauri for sharing the small flowers I used on this page as well as the bow on the watering can. Those pieces are great for little fillers. The dragonfly was a lot of fun to make. I have a Fiskars Shape Boss. The template I used was the Critters template. I used Perfect Pearls mixed with a sealant for the wings and stickles for the body. "All Things Grow with Love" was from a stencil template. Thanks a bunch for looking!
