Last December I made two calendars for two very wonderful scrappers whom I met thru scrapjazz and this site. These gals are true angels to me and am deeply touched by their acts of kindness and friendship. Wish I could visit with them, but because there is such a distance, I decided to bring a little bit of the Midwest to them. This is the calendar I made for Lauri D.
The mushroom picture was taken in our yard a couple of years ago. We had considerable rainfall that autumn and these little guys popped up all over our yard. Love the color and texture of this vegetation, so I have a nice collection of pictures. The dock scene was taken during a family weekend to Long Lake/Grand Rapids, MN. I made the fabric flower from material my wonderful MIL gave to me. Thanks for peeking!!
