This is my second completed layout from my Seattle trip I made in July 2012 to meet my soul sissy (Lauri D) whom I met on scrapjazz.com.
The papers I used came from different paper packs and I'm very pleased at the result. I added some sewn sequence. I also stitched around the sides and tied matching ribbon and embroidery thread randomly thru the stitches. The small letters were from a Studio G alpha stamp set. The larger letters are from Cricut.
The sentiment reads: "A Friend is someone who reaches for your hand and Touches your Heart." I felt this was so appropriate in how Lauri has truly impacted my life since we met.
The "selfie" was taken atop the Space Needle overlooking Seattle and Elliot Bay. It was truly an beautiful day to share with a beautiful friend!
