This is my son - his passion is slot car racing. He has never been the sporty type so we were so happy that he has found something that he enjoys so much. He made the junior champs in South Africa in the Western Cape last year, and in the 4 monhts that we have been in NZ, he has won his division (as per photo) and their team recently came 2nd in a 4 hour endurance race. As he has Aspergers and is sits on the very low end of the Autism scale, it has been so great that he has found something that he excels at.
I have made my own fly wheels/gears (did see that some of the members here use them on their masculine pages, thanks for the tip) and have hand stitched the edge of the page as well as some silver chalk ink to the edges.
