I have always used a day planner/calendar. Last year for 2016, I bought the Becky Higgins calendar and embellished it with the Graphic 45 Time to Flourish collection, which I adore. I had every intention of re-using that collection for my 2017 calendar. Since then I have figured out that I really don't need to keep the calendar part after the month has completed. So, for the remainder of 2016 and 2017, I made cover pages for each month using the Time to Flourish collection that I can re-use every year.

I bought the leather planner at Staples. I like that it has a zipper and everything can be enclosed. I printed each month on white card stock paper from printfree.com and cut it to fit. The holiday markers on the calendar I bought at Hobby Lobby. I covered all the page edges in washi tape so they don't get frayed or torn. It also toned down the busy papers.

This was a fun project using a collection I just love and will be able to use on daily basis for years to come. I have never scrapped "flat" well but with this collection it just made it entirely too easy.
