Love the colors - so soft and pastel! Beautiful - this one is just beautiful! Beautiful letters in the title - beautiful flowers - love everything about it!
The first thing that caught my eye was the soft pastel colors. It is gorgeous and your pp combo is great together. Clever technique with the ribbon! Well done!
JOURNALING: After our visit to Windsor Castle, we walked along the flooded banks of the Thames. The river was closed to all boat traffic.
SUPPLIES USED: My Minds Eye - Union Square - Portobello Road patterned paper Colorbok - Antique Paperie - stickers, vellum & Alpha My Minds Eye - Follow your heart clear stamps Pink Paislee - London Market clear stamps Pink Paislee - Indigo Bleu clear stamps Tim Holtz distress ink - Broken china Liquid pearls - Plantinum Pearl Misc supplies: Sharpie pen, ribbon, thread, dark grey paint
TECHNIQUE TIP: For some reason, I really love this soft color of aqua and have used it everywhere. What I have found is that I really don't have a lot of this color in my stash. When I was trying to find ribbons for the top and bottom, I discovered that I really only had one ribbon in the right shade of this aqua so I decided to make one for the top. I took a piece of off white muslin ribbon and stamped on it with various stamps using my distress ink (broken china). I then ran the ribbon through the ink to give it a bit more aged look and glued it on... I don't always have the perfect supplies, but normally we can all look through our stash and alter something that we have to make it right.
