My sister, Betty (kzookeeper), her daughter, Sarah (Sarah_Liz) and I recently visited a quaint little tearoom in Barnesville, Georgia. Journaling is hidden and reads: Betty, Sarah, and I visited a quaint “tea room.” The tearoom was located in Barnesville, Georgia, about 20 miles from Betty’s house. The neat thing about this tearoom was the décor. There were hats hanging on the walls, on hat racks, and mink stoles and velvet wraps were draped over some of the chairs. The owners of the tearoom encourage guest to try on hats and take pictures. They were kind enough to snap a picture of the three of us all “dolled up” in our fancy hats. We all tried on lots of hats, laughed at each other, and tried on some more! We managed to get quite a few good pictures…but mostly of Sarah. The lunch was delicious….and of course the tea was superb! April 19, 2007
