We had some heavy downpours Tuesday night over to Wednesday. I had to check the garden to ensure that none of my more delicate flowers got damaged. That's when I spotted my hostas! The wet and humid weather brought out the snails (and slugs) and 90% of my hosta leaves on EACH plant (I have 7) had been munched on! I even caught one culprit in the act! Needless to say I evicted the little blighter. Steve and I are now on snail patrol.
