Hi There! Here are two ways to add more writing space to any junk journal.
1. Fold Over Flip
A fold over flip can be added to any page, but its particularly useful when added to a printed page. In my journal I added a fold over flip to a coloring page. Its removable, so I can both write on the flip and color on the page.
Super simple to make. Cut a piece of paper any length you like, then fold it. I decided to make one side longer than the other, but you dont have to. Next, add a few embellishments and hold it in place with a decorated paperclip. Its just that easy. And look at all the writing space I added.
2. Tucks and Tags
Tags are another great way to add writing space to any journal. They can go in pockets, be clipped to a page or like my example slipped under a tuck.
This side tuck was made by placing a sticker on book page, then tearing around it. The bottom and right side are glued to the page forming a tuck area.
There are two different style tags in this tuck. The first one was made by cutting a rectangle from pattern paper, then clipping the top corners with a scallop punch. For the second tag I fussy cut an image from pattern paper. I just love the delicate edge to this tag. Both tags have solid paper glued to the back to provide writing space.
These two quick ways of adding writing space are a great addition to any junk journal.
