This is absolutely gorgeous! I love the soft colors, flowers and photo! I think we have all messed up a layout at some point! I know I have had a few choice words more than once while recreating a layout!!!
I feel with you! Been there, done it. Usually, I mess up on the glue or the liquid pearls hence why I rarely use these two items.
The layout is PERFECT. Going straight into my faves. Just love the design of it, together with the amazing photo, it really stands out

This is so lovely, and I understand what a bad feeling you had after the chalk incident! The photo is so beautiful and everything fits so perfect!! Just a question: how do you know it was eatern then and it was urly that year. Did your mother tell you or was it written on the picture?

OH MY ...this is so very beautiful!! You have recreated your "disaster" exceptionally well!! Your fussy cutting looks lovely as does your pretty flower cluster!! I always find that if I only have one piece of paper that I am determined to use, no matter what, I will have a disaster :) Love your photo!!
I know all about creative disasters!!! You made a beautiful, beautiful page!!!! I love that picture and your design is stunning my friend!!!! I just love every little detail!!!!!
when i had a look first befor i read your storie i did't found any thing wrong on it. and still i can't find anything misplaced it is so stunning so amazing beautiful love it
The photo on this page is my mother and her brother with their mother, and their maternal grandparents. I'm fairly sure it was taken on Easter Sunday in 1923. Easter was early that year and it was quite cool in New York. I used the September Scraps of Elegance (Nostalgia) and was inspired by Suepup's sketch that came with the kit and a page by my good friend Chez. Thanks to both of them for the inspiration.
Although, everything has been fixed, making this page was a creative disaster. After I had most of my elements secured to the page, I accidentally got blue chalk on the background page with the lovely blue cornflowers. I tried to make it a part of the design and added more blue chalk - bad idea! I only had one page with the blue cornflowers, so I ended up taking the whole page apart - bling and all - fussy cutting the blue cornflowers and adhering them and all the other elements to this page - it was not a fun creative experience and I'm sorry to say that I uttered a few choice words while re-creating my page ~
