The pages of time

Pardon my ignorance (I'm still a newbie and learning something new all the time), but is it okay to use pages of a book? Will the ink harm the images at all over time? I love this idea and would like to use it in my daughters' baby book but don't know how to protect the images from possible damage. Thanks!

Wow, wow, wow! I like how you have a larger frame in the background and then repeated it on the pages in front. I don't think I've seen that before. I'm definitely inspired. Really, this entire layout is wonderful. Just love it! TFS!
