A layout submitted at CSI to compete for a guest spot. I used a sketch from Scrapbook Trends: Create with sketches for this layout. My parents and my brother and I often took long road trips. Today, kids would probably consider it torture since we had no TV, gameboy, etc. And we didn't have the air conditioner on half the time since dad was convinced it saved gas mileage. Journaling says, "In the 1970's, my family took many out-of-state road trips. Here we are at Mesa Verde, N.M., over a Spring Break. Todd and I were such stylish explorers. Check out his white polyester belt! One long car ride! (Photo was probably taken in 1975-ish) I presented my journaling on 3 labels. For evidence I used a map print of New Mexico, leather trim with beads, a metal feather, and a Hambly transparency. There's also some stipes in the pattern paper. Product includes Hambly, Webster's, sticker labels from OA, SC, and Webster's, sticker letters from SC, ribbon from Maya Road. The map came from an old piece of SEI pattern I fussy cut. TFL!
