ok. had trouble with my digital and finally got it to give up the pics. They're not the best pics but i hope you get the flavor of the thing. I wanted to scan the pages but this book was soooo fat (and wonderful) it just wasn't possible. #1 is the scan of the cover i posted way back when we sent them off. the cover reads: Your Everyday: a spontaneous and un-precious cj dedicated to the premise that your everyday ideas thoughts and adventures matter.#2 - just a pic to show how huge this journal ended up being… chock full of wonderful stuff!#3&4 is “Do be, Don't be” page which opens up to reveal the theme and premise with da rulz (i had a few… like no computer journaling). In general i asked for people to record a day, a thought or an event. Be spontaneous and have fun. I wanted participants to resist making their pages all perfect and pretty. More of a visual journal. #5 is the the sign in pages (everyone made such cool little tags didn't they?#6 is MY first page. i guess its almost a warmup if you will to show everyone what they could do. Just random stuff i slapped down. it was fun.#7 &8 are my pages about making Madeleines (wee little french cakes) for my dd's school project. I had a lot of fun with this - even did some doodling of ze ingredients :-)and threw in recipe cards.#9 & 10 are pages i did about my dad and brother. i did a watercolor wash for the bg. stamped the title (paper candy) and printed their pic on some fabric and stitched that on and just wrote.11-16 are Linda's (redplaid3) pages. 11-12 she did “the weather” with fun images and random thoughts - just great stuff. 13-14 she did pages about her family's trip to a baseball game - isn't this cool? scores and mini tickets.. 15-16 are her “make-over”pages. house and ds LOL! she had little fun samples of wallpaper and her removing the old stuff! And the pics of ds LL - you know i have yet to get to do the makeover on my ds (who has very long hair!) 17-20 are Michele's (mjfc) Her pages were quite wonderous. I think she enjoyed the playing, am i right Michele? on 16-17 She used some beautiful colors of papers and cardstock and ink… cool stamps… the combo of things is something i don't think she would do normally (knowing her work) but i am thinking she needs to do this more - some really gorgeous stuff don't you agree? and everything opens (and she must know i like that stuff!) to reveal more handwritten stuff and more stamping. i just love reading everyones random thoughts! 18&19 well Michele my mouth sorta dropped open. “a lifelong dream” is really quite an amazing piece of art and i love the facing page with its door handle and swatches and hinge… ok.. i have to continue on another entry… please come along cos there are more amazing pages left to be seen.
