Give a Cheer
ITS SOOOO HOT OUTSIDE! In FL if you are going to be outside in the summer your MUST be in water. And although it pains me to say (as a huge beach fan), going to the beach with a little kids is tedious. Especially by yourself. Luckily there is a fabulous splach park right around the corner from us. Its easy for me to grease her up (with sunscreen), throw on bathing suits, grab towels, and go. Plus a its a great opportunity to meet other local parents and kids. I am greatful to our city for creating a fun safe enviornment for my DD.
Can you tell I had fun makign this page? At first the color made me dizzy, but after a minute I decided to run with it! At first I was befuddled by having a large print, but once I trimmed it down it came together. Again, it is nothing like what I originally imagined in my mind, but I love it....even though it looks like my daughter is living in a Barbie world.
Ps. Can you see all the sequins I stitched into the sun beams? Btw, I was totally stumped about what color to do those...DH said "how about alternating the colors?" So I ditched the blue floss (I hade been fiddling with) and added in the lighter pink and white. Poor thing--- I never listen to him. but he always inspires great ideas.
