I need to get more info from my dad - I know this is a fishing trip outside of Tokyo, obviously in winter. But I cant remember the town name. I used one of the photos for reference while inking the background (Ill scraps that photo and pics of the background for a separate album). Most of the background is oxide ink with a little watercolor (tree trunk) and acrylic paint (snow). The silver snowflakes are Dazzles. All of the trees were stamped using the tip of a Stampin Up pine tree.
