Grandma’s Bridal Party (1949)

My dad's father died in action during WWII and his mother met the challenges of being widowed, the mom of a young boy and making ends meet. She was a pen pal to those still at war when she and her future husband (my grandpa) met and began corresponding. When he was stateside, he courted her (times were sure different then!) and they married. I believe the Matron of Honor was her best friend and the Junior Bridesmaid was a niece.
