WOW!!! Another example of your extreme talent. LOVE this!!! I have to also say, that while I don't do CG lo's, I think it is really neat that you leave tips for others. I have noticed that on many of your lo's. So, I just want to say "thank you" for doing that. You are a great inspiration to many. {hugs} B
the attention to detail was totally worth it!!! it's all so perfect, beginning with the photo, into the design and digi kit choice, and ending with perfect, subtle embellishments. you've inspired me to do something with all that floss and little beads gathering dust here. yet another one going into my faves.
This is my first layout using a digital kit and it was so much fun!
I typically make my layouts from scratch which can be very time consuming. It was great to have the freedom to play around with high quality premade items at my fingertips. Ironically, I used up my all my free time making stitching and little beads to embellish the page!
Thanks Maya for such BEAUTIFUL work!
fyi-Now with ALL my newly found spare time maybe I can get to all the backlogged images like this one of Cheo and her Dad when she was 9 months old!
Helpful tip:
For minute detail like stitching, I use a hard tipped photoshop brush of about 3 to 4 pixels. In order to have more control when using a tip this small, zoom in CLOSE on the canvas using the magnifying tool. Not only will you be able to see what you're doing, you will also be able to control the strokes of the paint brush better...
