This LO was done as part of a challenge with my FSSCG/COF. The challenge was to use a multi-generational pic, journaling, doodling & at least three homemade/altered embellies. My altered items are the blue inked ghost bird & the flowers. The flowers I chalked, glimmer misted & added glue dot centers dipped in glitter.
Hidden journaling reads, "On the surface, this pair of photos seems to capture a happy family, celebrating their newest addition. If one takes a closer look, one will see the scared look in the new mother's teenaged eyes, the thinly disguised disappointment on her parents faces, the disapproving gaze of her grandmother & the resentment in her new husbands heart."
The baby is my brother, Jeff. My mom was 17 & my dad 19. Major family drama... my mother told me the story a few years back.
