Layout of my niece. I did this one for my sister when she was in Iraq.
Journaling reads:
I sure miss my mommy
She's away at war.
I know it's in a land
That is so very far.
I miss her hugs and kisses
And all the things that Mommy's do.
I will be so very glad when this war is through.
I'm so proud she serves our country
And stands for what is right.
But I really miss my Mommy
Tucking me in at night.
I'm counting off the days
Until her duty ends
And pray each night for her
Until she's home again.
