This month I am showcasing the darling Doodle Birds set. It is one of Korin's first "big" sets and it is full of possibilities. I found this yummy American Crafts paper at Hobby Lobby and thought it would fit perfect with this little bird. I paper pieced the birdie using Certainly Celery cardstock and put him in his little nest. I lined my image with my Copics to give it some depth and added red gemstones to frame the image. I flipped the patterned paper and used the beautiful red color to mount the main image and use as the middle panel. The sketch is Splitcoaststampers Sketch #186. I stamped the image in Basic Black, punched it out using my 1 3/8 circle punch, and popped it up on dimensionals. My black satin ribbon finishes off the card. This card would be perfect for someone who is expecting a baby or someone moving into a new home. This set has so many possibilities!!
